Before and after-school care at Hunmanby Primary School
The home of the ‘busy bees’ working together to have fun, learn and share in a caring environment Hunmanby School aims to complement its provision of high quality education with onsite childcare provision for children aged 3-11.
Daily Routine
The morning session begins with parent/carers bringing children to the Main Entrance from 7:45, please ring the hive bell to let us know you have arrived. At 8:45 we will ensure they reach their classroom safely.
Children register for the afternoon session in the hall.
At the end of the afternoon session children are collected from the Main Entrance by their parent/carer- time to go home!
Morning session children are provided with toast, cereals, fruit and yoghurts, the children help themselves to what they would like.
Afternoon session children are provided with a light snack from 3.30pm
Sessions & Fees
We offer morning and evening sessions with variable charges to reflect the evening pick up time.

Meet The Hive Staff
We have two or three members of staff working during each session. We plan appropriate child led activities and activity weeks. These include Science, craft, sports and gardening nights. Please see our planned timetable below.
The children also have the option to choose what activities they would like to do. We have a wide range of activities for the children to enjoy from creative to exploring outside. Our staff currently work within the school and bring a variety of experience and skills to the club.
